Tips For A Successful GoStoring Storage Delivery

At GoStoring, we’re dedicated to making your storage experience simple, seamless, and stress-free—from delivery and pickup to relocation or storage at one of our secure facilities. To help ensure everything goes smoothly, here are some important guidelines and tips for a successful GoStoring delivery.

HOA Rules & Gated Community Access

  • If your residence is governed by a Homeowners Association (HOA), we recommend contacting them in advance to check for any restrictions or time limits regarding storage container deliveries.

  • Please notify the gatehouse ahead of our arrival to avoid delays or the need for a return trip.

  • If your community requires delivery through a designated truck entrance, be sure to inform us ahead of time.

  • If we are unable to complete a delivery or pickup due to un-communicated HOA or community restrictions, a redelivery fee will apply.

Preparing for Your GoStoring Container Delivery

  • Our drivers need a clear, obstruction-free path for delivery and pickup. Please remove any vehicles, lawn equipment, toys, or other obstacles from the area in advance.

Container Placement at Your Location

  • If you have a preferred placement for your container, please notify us before your scheduled delivery.

  • If you are not present during delivery and later request the container to be moved, a $50 repositioning fee will apply.

Storage Facility Access & Placement

  • Make sure the container doors are securely closed before we move or store your unit. We are not responsible for damage due to unsecured doors.

  • Please provide at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to access your container at our facility.

  • Any changes to your original order will incur a $50 change fee.

Container Relocation & Pickup

  • Your account must be current and free of outstanding balances to schedule a pickup or relocation.

  • We require at least 3 business days’ notice for all relocation or pickup requests.

  • We recommend scheduling your pickup for the day after your container is fully packed as we cannot guarantee a specific pickup time.

  • If we are delayed due to wait time exceeding 15 minutes upon arrival, a $50 waiting fee will apply.

  • Any cancellations or changes to your confirmed pickup/delivery date or time will incur a $50 change order fee.

  • Transportation charges are based on actual distance and may differ from your initial quote. Any updates will be included in your confirmation email or text.

Completing Your GoStoring Rental

  • Your container must be completely empty before final pickup. A $50 cleaning fee will be charged if items remain inside.

  • All locks must be removed from the container. A $50 lock removal fee applies if locks are left on.

  • To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must request your final pickup at least 3 business days before your next monthly renewal date.
